MY STORY

I often mention the phrase that every person has a story. In my time with clients, I take time to share with them a bit of my story as I believe it's important that they get to know me a bit and the person that sits before them. Who we are and who we are becoming is an essential part of our journey. And while all of us have experiences that we wish we could dismiss from our lives, I believe that it is those very experiences that add richness to our lives and what we have to offer others. Those experiences don't have to define us, but they become a part of the fabric of our lives. The scars of life often add to the depth of our belief systems...I call it 'beauty for ashes.'

Let me just start by saying, I love what I do. And I'm always humbled and honored when an individual invites me into their journey.

I am blessed in that I discovered quite a few years ago what God created me to do. Of course, doing a few gifts and skills assessments has helped confirmed my giftings along the way. One of the things I always look for - whether it's in jobs or relationships is ... does it (or do they) bring me joy. Why? Because I've discovered that when you are experiencing joy in your life, it has a way of bringing joy into the lives of others.

Many of you may have heard the term 'the JOY of the Lord is my strength'. What do I mean by strength? It's an internal anchor that keeps my faith strong, and my beliefs rooted in who I am in Christ even when life gets a bit challenging. I hope that is portrayed in this work I get to do alongside others. We all can use a little (or a LOT) of joy in our lives.

I have an MA in Member Care and am a Certified Debriefer and Coach through Le Rucher ministries located in Cessy, France. I love discovering new tools to help people process their experiences. But my greatest joy is watching the transformation process in people as they discover God in the midst of their challenging experiences. It never ceases to amaze me and I'm grateful that I often get a front row seat.
